Who We Are
Having seen the video of our machine in action perhaps you are already beginning to share our belief that it is the best card dealing system on the market today but where did it come from and where is it going?
PlayBridgeDealer4 didn’t just happen; it was made to happen thanks to the professionalism and dedication of its designer, Chris Szarek, who always strives for perfection whilst adopting practical solutions to age old problems. Alas, the rubbish bins around the globe are full of the best ever “this, that or the other” all being great but unable to be brought to market. This is where Terry Collier came into the picture, with his knowledge of the bridge market and ability to identify what was needed and how to sell it. So a partnership was born with Chris in Australia and Terry in England, just far enough away to stop wars erupting from time to time. Anyway thanks to late night and early morning email exchanges and some very pleasant meetings in locations around the world, the partnership blossomed into what we have today but its not the end of the road – we have only just started!
PlayBridgeDealer4 has clearly taken the market by storm and resulted in the need for us to increase production capabilities, this being achieved in 2011 with the opening of a new production unit in Chris’s home town of Krakow in Poland. The move has more than doubled the former Australian production capacity, allowing Chris to dedicate more time to R&D both in terms of improvements to the existing machine and the introduction of new products and services for the future.
Why is PlayBridgeDealer4 so different? The answer is simple we haven’t copied others, thus resisting the temptation of falling into the same traps as those before us. This has resulted in a totally different approach to the card dealing process, which has brought reliability, accuracy and the flexibility of choice. The choice to use the cards of your choice, rather than finding yourself tied into just one brand and a fixed price that stems from a market monopoly. Thankfully we have played our part in breaking this monopoly and in so doing have given our users the choice that they deserve, especially if they cherish the traditional designs of their own national cards or merely prefer to buy the cards that their members prefer to play with.
